Student film from a year ago.

Here I am analysis student films through the evaluation of Genre, Editing, Sound, Camera Angels, Mise, Character Titles as I am doing this I will be looking for the pros and cons of these pieces of work. Student Films.

Genre-The clip appears to be an 'Action' this is indicated through the use of guns, violence, outfits and location used throughout the clip.

Editing-The uses of slow paced moving camera with limited cut sense help build up the tension and keep the viewer intact and wanting them to watch more.

Sound-The low music, help emphasis the build up of tension and may result into action.

Camera Angels-There aren't many 'Camera Angels' used within the piece but the establishing shot at the beginning help give the viewer and general gist of where the agent is and the use of over the shoulder from the criminal to see the agent confront him which results into a fighting sense, throughout the majority of the clip there the camera angel is mainly wide shot as it doesn't just focus on the agent but also shows the dairy licked farm.

Mise-en-Scene-The mise-en-scene of the film seems to be an agent which has gone to receive a package before being told it's a scam, this then results the agent to confront the criminal before having a fight and leaving the scene to an unknown location walking away from the injured criminal.

Character-The agent is wearing all black with a bullet proof vest with a gun, very good build mostly muscular , roughly the height of 5ft9-10 and has brown hair with a pale skin tone.

Titles-The titles are very sophisticated and suit the style of the film and match the outfit of the actor.

This will help me with my final piece due to use of location as it plays a big role to help set the atmosphere and feeling, the use of sound helps engage the audience and helps build tension and to help latch the audience in before they are bored.
